MACHINE SERVICE

Service IS available in Farmington for all of your machines (all makes/modes, new/vintage, etc.).  As always, you may schedule ahead in order to receive same-day service, or you can pay a $25 priority fee to be bumped to the front of the queue in the case of a sewing emergency. However, most of the time our turn around time for professional service is no more than 3 days, so you’ll rarely have to be without your machine for long (unless we are waiting for parts).  We are proud of the service we provide, and the professional service department we have. We believe that our techs should be approachable, so our tech area is out in the open where you can interact with the techs, see what they are doing, and ask them questions. Just one more way that Quilted Corners makes your sewing experience superior and comfortable.

FARMINGTON SEWCIALITES

Every Tuesday is the meeting of the Farmington Sewcialites. What is a Sewcialite and how can you become one? I’m glad you asked. A Sewcialite is someone who loves to sew with a group of other sewists and quilters. To become a Sewcialite all you have to do is show up to Quilted Corners on any Tuesday with your sewing machine and a project to work on. This is a come and go setting, open from 9-5:30. You may bring your lunch or snacks (only drinks with lids, please), or you may patronize the many restaurants in the vicinity. Plan to sewcialize with your friends, make new friends, and complete numerous projects. If you need help or advice, you need only ask. If you need a project to work on or fabric or notions to finish a project, we will have those available. If you would like to use one of our classroom machines, just call ahead to reserve one, as we have a limited number of machines available for class use. We look forward to having you join Farmington’s newest, most exclusive sewcial club!

STOP IN OFTEN

We are still adding fabrics and notions on a weekly basis, and will have thread coming in the near future. Plus lots more! Thank you for your patience as we continue to build the most inviting quilt store in northern New Mexico. Speaking of adding, we have added Melissa Kirk to our staff at Quilted Corners. Be sure to stop in, introduce yourself, and welcome her smiling face!

NEW FABRIC

Chong-a-Hwang continues to be one of the hottest fabric designers out the with this collection appropriately named "Meow-za". You too will fall in love with these kitties.

Kanvas has created a whimsical baby frog panel, with playful lily pads, dots and stripes… so cute we had to share it! This is the perfect panel to spark baby’s imagination... lots of things to look at, and a message of happiness and fun. The colors are also perfect—good for both boys and girls, and the coordinates (mini frogs, dragonflies, words , dots and more) provide loads of choices for the quilter or crafter. No wonder they called it “Toadily Cute”... it’s just full of fun (and cute) possibilities!
