Blocks Without Borders (an Art & Landscape Society) meets on the Third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. Prepare to exchange ideas, along with giving and receiving inspiration. Don’t forget to bring your Show-N-Tell! We will have a door prize! No RSVP necessary.
Our August meeting was a lively discussion and sharing of ideas,projects and show and tell including:
• Our “achievers” who had already finished their September challenge AND the History Museum blocks not due until January
• Susan offered to demo easy curved piecing (October)
September:
• Reveal of ” A Picture is worth a thousand words – OR IS IT” challenge. This is bound to be eye-opening and much fun
• Quick discussion on next challenge.
• Virginia Robertson will give us a class on drawing faces on fabric painting (11/2 – 2 hours) She has kindly offered loaner supplies but if you have waterproof pens, Micron pigma in brown, red and black, a fabric eraser, pencil sharpener, portable light table and pencils, please bring them.
• Update on History Museum projects progress.
