1st Breakfast Club in July would fall on July 6th. We know many of our customers will be traveling, or celebrating with family still after the Fourth of July. We have cancelled 1st Saturday Festivities in July Don't Despair! Instead, we are having:Christmas In July! Christmas In July (This Event Taking The Place Of 1st Saturday Breakfast Club… this month only!) Thursday, July 18, 2019 6:00-8:00 Come enjoy an evening out! We will have our Christmas collections, kits, patterns & samples… and even Christmas cookies!

Aimee and Todd will be at BERNINA University in Jacksonville Florida next week. There will not be a Quiltzette Newsletter next week. If you miss us, like our page on Facebook. We will share our trip with you there! Here at Cortez Quilt Company and More.... hours and schedule will be happening like normal. All our staff is here to take care of what you need.

Blocks Without Borders (Art & Landscape Society) Thursday, June 20, 2019 1:00 Blocks Without Borders (an Art & Landscape Society) meets on the Third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. Prepare to exchange ideas, along with giving and receiving inspiration. Don’t forget to bring your Show-N-Tell! We will have a door prize! No RSVP necessary.
• Lou Ann Jacobson Ball will demo the freezer paper method of fabric printing. Bring freezer paper and something to print.
• Our current challenge “Necessity is the Mother of Invention” is due at the July meeting but bring any works-in-progress to show.
• Bring any and all show and tell items – this is usually the highlight of the gathering and a great way for us all to learn and admire!
• We will discuss and decide our next challenge from a list of options presented by Janet Huffman.
• We will also discuss and decide how we might engage with the new Montezuma County Heritage Museum project. One idea presented is to make a collage quilt depicting historical sites in the county. More ideas to come!
