MOAB QUILT SHOW

2019 QUILTING IN THE RED ROCKS QUILT SHOW

Saturday, March 2^nd and Sunday March 3^rd

There is nothing like a lot of color to brighten a winter day, and that is just what visitors to Quilting in the Red Rocks Quilt Show will experience! The Delicate Stitchers Quilt Guild will celebrate its twenty-first anniversary by presenting its tenth biennial quilt show at the Grand Center, 182 N. 500 West, the weekend of
March 2 & 3.

Hours are: Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

Sunday, March 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission, as always, is free!

Close to 200 antique, traditional and art quilts, quilted home décor and wearable art will be on display, along with our beautiful Modern star Opportunity Quilt made by Guild members and expertly quilted by Lou Gostlin. It is queen/king sized. Tickets for the quilt will be on sale at the show. Annual challenge quilts will also be on display.

Vendors from Utah, Colorado and New Mexico will offer fabrics, patterns, threads, books and notions. Vendors will be offering demonstrations throughout the two days of the show, so stop by their booths to see what they have to offer. Moab quilter, and Guild member, Sandra Starley, is one of fewer than 100 accredited quilt appraisers in the nation; and one of only two in Utah. She will be doing quilt appraisals in her booth, for a fee. Come and enjoy the old and new in quilting!

Come to our party and learn how to create this fun towel hanger with a coordinating appliqué for your tea towel! Add some cheer to your kitchen with this fun project, or make one up for a friend! This hands-on class is a great opportunity for beginning embroiderers and seasoned stitchers alike! We will walk you step by step through the process of creating this charming project.
