Many thanks to everyone who came out for this event - it was spectacular... and we learned a lot too! Several customers brought in show and tell - be sure to go check out more photos on our Facebook page!

Mary Lucille of M&S Textiles was our special speaker. She came on Thursday to make sure that snow would not get in her way of getting here! We loved hearing about the designers and symbols on the fabric.

We had a full house! A couple people got plowed out just to attend.

Cassidy made pavlova and lamingtons that were scrumptious!

FARM SWEET FARM
SEW ALONG

Lori Holt's long-awaited Farm Sweet Farm Sew Along begins Monday, January 28th! Go to her blog each week to receive new directions to complete this most amazing quilt. We would love for you to join us on open sew days if you would like to sew with others during this project.

We have had an extremely difficult time getting our full collection of fabrics for this project - in fact some will not arrive until next week. That being said, this Friday, January 25th, we will be putting out our kits,fabrics, templates and accessories (and will complete everything as fabric gets here). We have only a limited number of kits, so be sure to call to reserve yours now. (Those of you on the pre-order list for a kit get first dibs).

While you are at Lori's blog, you will want to spend some time exploring, as she has such fun projects. She has a current Vintage Block Along that is very enticing!

AURIFIL BLOCK OF THE MONTH

Jump on over to Aurifil's website to see the fun Block of the Month Challenge that is just starting. Each month one of their designers will be creating a block based upon a special tradition in their life. Each of you can then duplicate that block and enter to win! Each month Aurifil will select one random winner to receive a 12 LARGE spool BOX of Aurifil thread for just making the challenge block and sharing it!
