Have you ever wanted to learn to sew? Now is your chance! We are participating in a nationwide initiative to teach people how to sew. It is a 6 week program (you can attend whichever classes you want). There is a $5 fee/class and any additional supplies will be available for under $20 each class. We have sewing machines that you can use. Check out our main class page to see all six weeks of projects.Click Here To See All Six Projects. Please call 970-565-7541 or come by to sign up!

As you can tell from this picture taken from last week's Sew Days' Class - it is a lot of fun. These gals were shocked how much they learned... plus they went home with a completed project!

Oh, Scrap is definitely one of the top quilting books currently.  If you want to think like a scrap quilter, learn from a master. Lissa Alexander has spent three decades honing her scrap-quilting talents, and in her first solo book, she offers page after page of tips for making dazzling scrap quilts saturated with colors, prints, and textures. Learn how to easily make insightful decisions about which fabric combinations work (and understand why others don’t). Best of all, discover how to (finally!) use your unique stash to make scrap quilts that sing. Includes a preface by renowned quilt historian Barbara Brackman. Choose from a dozen patterns, quilts range in size from cuddly lap quilts to bed quilts.
