We are so happy to welcome Sarah Kackstetter to our team. Sarah and her husband Adam recently moved from Alaska to the Cortez area. They literally packed up the truck with their belongings (along with their yellow lab Teeka) and set out to find their dream property.  Rural Cortez met all of their hopes and expectations - land to homestead, with plenty of opportunities for their hobbies of camping, mountain biking and hiking.

Sarah has a degree in Studio Art Education. While in Alaska, she found that the art of quilting inspired her. Sarah joined the local guild in Juneau, and participated in a quilting group at work, where she participated in several projects with other members and friends. Now, four years later, Sarah is very much looking forward to learning new techniques. Sarah "loves seeing what others are working on and the challenges and the beauty that comes with this art medium".

Be sure to come by and meet Sarah soon!
