New Fabric
The final installment of Four Seasons has arrived. The colors in this winter/Christmas themed collection are delicious. Two per panel, these designs measure approximately 24" x 24" and make great pillows and wall hangings. The coordinating bolts are lovely, too. |
Winter Hours Start November 1The days are about to get shorter (standard time resumes on November 5). This year, we've decided to adopt winter hours and will be closing at 5 p.m. from November 1 through February 28. On March 1 we'll go back to our usual nine-hour days, again staying open until 6 p.m. Interesting Fact: Daylight savings time will return in 2018 on March 11. That means we now have only about four months of standard time each year. |
First Saturday Make & Take: Fiesta Placemats

Bargello Butterfly

Judith Swain will teach this class that starts on Monday, November 13 with a prep/cutting day and wraps up on Saturday November 18 when you’ll be sewing. This is an intermediate and above project. Beaded Christmas Ornaments

$42, includes all supplies Learn to knit with beads and make a Christmas ornament for yourself and one for a gift. This ornament is knit in the round and stuffed with fiberfill. Price of the class includes pattern, one hank of yarn, fiberfill, and beads. You will need to bring a set of #2, #3, or # 4 size dpns. The hanger can be crocheted using a B or C crochet hook or an I-cord can be knitted. Dana Jensen will teach this class. |
Cabled Mitts

$19 Cold hands, warm heart? Warm up your hands with these cabled fingerless mitts. Learn to knit cables and knit in the round using double-pointed needles in this class. You will need worsted weight yarn and double-pointed needles to provide a gauge of 8 sts per inch in K2 P2 rib pattern. Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl. Anne Worthington will teach this class. |
Crochet 101

In this class you’ll learn how to chain stitch, single, and half-double crochet.
