Third Thursday Demo on Holiday

We're giving the Third Thursday Demo a break for the month of August. The next one will be on September 21 when Judith Swain will demonstrate how to make continuous bias binding.

A&L Not On Holiday

The Art & Landscape Quilt group, however, is not taking a break because their creativity never rests. They'll meet at 1:00 p.m. at the shop this Thursday, August 17. If you haven't yet participated in this group, come by to check out what they're doing. Amazing work is being produced.

Getting to Know Hue Sewing Days: August 21-23

How are you doing with your block-of-the-month? All caught up? If not, bring your project in for a special three-day sewing extravaganza here at the shop August 21-23. Attend one, two, or all three days. No charge and no registration required. Just come on in for some good sewing time.

New Fabric

Local designer Virginia Robertson created this beautiful collection. It arrived in the shop on Friday. So cheerful!

New Yarn

This gorgeous yarn arrived last week. In ten colors, it's 70% wool and 30% nylon. 100 grams, and 380 yards per ball. Great for socks, lace knitting, and more.

We also received a few Sueno limited edition hand-dyed skeins. This is 80% merino superwash and 20% viscose from bamboo. Really soft and the colors are amazing. 100 grams and 255 yards per skein.

Key West Handbag

This bag is a great size for everyday use. It measures 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ and it’s 4″ deep. With lots of pockets on the inside and a large one on both the front and back you’ll stay organized and have everything you need within reach. This is a good first bag class . . . just challenging enough and no zippers. Fat quarter friendly, too. Judy Bryan will teach this class.
