Who doesn't love fabric? And now there are three days officially dedicated to this habit, I mean hobby!
August 17th - 19th, we are going to have Mystery Bags just for you!
Purchase a Mystery Bag that has been filled with three yards of fabric for just $24.99.
In addition, each bag will contain a half yard of "Ugly Duckling" fabric.
You DO NOT NEED to participate in the Ugly Duckling Challenge to purchase a Mystery Bag, although we hope you want to play along!
We are challenging you to create the following:
~ A 30 x 30 wall hanging.
~ 50% of the quilt top must contain your "Ugly Duckling" fabric.
~ Your wall hanging needs to be quilted, and be finished with a binding or facing.
~ All Ugly Duckling Challenge Wall Hangings need to be submitted by
Monday, October 9th.

The Tamarack Jacket is a warm and stylish quilted coat perfect for spring and fall layering. Follow one of the two quilting designs included, or design your own to make your Tamarack totally original to you! You’ll stay toasty thanks to the inner layer of cotton or wool batting, while the roomy welt pockets will keep your belongings safe and your hands warm.

You will learn the entire process: how to use a rotary cutter, piecing, adding borders, quilting, and binding. This class will give you the foundation needed to move on to more advanced projects. Note: We will help you with your fabric selection, so that you can make yours according to your own personal taste. |
