What in the world is special about a fifth Saturday?
We are revamping our loyalty program with new cards and new discounts. Plus, customers who qualify will be given a reusable Quilted Corners bag that they can enjoy all year! Shop at least two times between now and the fifth Saturday in October
(October 29th) to receive a free tote bag! (Or you can purchase a tote bag for $15.00). Bring the tote to every 5th Saturday throughout the year and receive a percentage off of everything you can stuff in the bag!

Giving Thanks With Aprons Sew Along - Celebrating Acts of Kindness

Types of Machines That Can Be Used: Sewing Machines, Sewing/Embroidery Machines, and/or Sergers.

This Thanksgiving Eve, Tie One On (an apron of course!) and bring joy to the life of someone that is in need, or feeling out of sorts. Participation is easy and uplifting:
* Simply wrap a loaf of bread or baked good in an
apron
* Tuck an encouraging note or prayer into the
pocket
* Present your offering to a neighbor, friend or
person in your community who could benefit from
your gesture of kindness. (Please provide us with
people who you feel should receive an arpon)
* Tie One On - and put the "give" back into
Thanksgiving. |
Additionally, we have been challenged by the Cortez store to see who can come up with the most aprons. Whichever store wins will have major bragging rights, along with a pizza party! |
This has been an ongoing class. Recently, several additional gals have decided to join in. If you were originally signed up and are behind, or want to join now.... it is not too late! Lura will get you caught up.
Join us at Quilted Corners as we embark on educational Block of the Month Program where you will do tons of fun things with your machine, your presser feet, and decorative stitches! BERNINA Machine Mastery Classes

Table Runner - each student will choose their own fabrics, embroidery designs, and embellishments on a Quilt-As-You-Go layout, based upon built-in designs and features of each machine. We will review all embroidery techniques covered in previous classes, plus add more, including built-in embroidered applique designs. In addition, we will review all of the techniques in the My BERNINA Embroidery Mastery Workbook. This is an ongoing Mastery Class, which new students can join at any time.

Beginning Quilting

Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? Would you like to refine your skills? This class is for you! You will learn the entire process: how to use a rotary cutter, piecing, adding borders, quilting, and binding. This class will give you the foundation needed to move on to more advanced projects. Note: We will help you with your fabric selection, so that you can make yours according to your own personal taste. |

SOS #3 Free Motion Quilting

Barb has “invented” a new SOS class to add to your skills. If you have taken previous sessions, this class will definitely interest you. |
This adjustable foot allows you to sew along a ¼-inch-thick Plexiglass ruler and create decorative quilt designs such as lines, feathers and circles. The markings on the inside and outside allow for precise sewing, and the dial lets you adjust the height of the foot individually to the fabric thickness. Thanks to the slit in the Adjustable Ruler Foot #72S, you can change a sewing foot without having to cut the thread. This allows an easy transition from Rulerwork to other applications. The foot is compatible with Couching Inserts and Echo-quilting Clips. |
