DRESS A GIRL

Dress A Girl Around The World is a "volunteer group that makes simple and unique dresses for girls in impoverished countries around the world

Cortez Quilt Company and Quilted Corners are both partnering up with this great organization, what better use for our fabrics and embellishments!



Two gals from the New Mexico Chapter (Teri & Cam) will be here to explain their work!

This is a totally open learning and teaching experience and we don't want you to miss out!

 Check out our October project - A very simple basic modern landscape by "slice -as-you-go" technique which we will learn together. No rules except bring your machine and several fabric scraps in outdoor (or indoor) colors you like. See attached photo of sample. This piece is 12" x 9".

Looking forward to seeing you and laughing with you as we create together!

Talk about a fun project! This pattern includes instructions to make 3 different scalloped bins (see back cover) using Bosal's pre-cut Scalloped Placemats or Scalloped Square. These baskets are reversible, can be pieced or solid, and you can feature some clever walking foot quilting! These are great for Christmas gift giving... or your own decor!

Easy and fun to make, these bags in five sizes are perfect for storing and carrying make-up, sewing supplies, tech gear, and more.
The pattern includes complete step-by-step instructions for making the bags with or without quilted fabric and for adding optional iron-on vinyl laminate to make the inside easy to wipe clean.

Double-slide zippers and handy grab tabs make the bags easy to open wide and attached side panels prevent contents from falling out. An optional strap with swivel hook may also be added.

When empty, the bags nest inside one another to save space.
