ART & LANDSCAPE QUILTS

If you are interested in exploring the world of art and/or landscape quilts, this group is for you!
Our art and landscape group meets on the third Thursday of each month... we would love to have you join us!

Art & Landscape Meeting
"Blocks Without Borders"
Thursday, September 16th
@ 1:00

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!

We are learning together each month and invite all interested quilters to join us on September 16th at Stitcher's Haven at 1:00 p.m.

This is a totally open learning and teaching experience and we don't want you to miss out!

Our September meeting will be fun. Bring your machine, thread and very basic sewing stuff (CQC provides cutting mats, rotary cutters, irons etc)  and something from your closet that you are willing to cut up and make into a small "art piece".

This means .........sewing, gluing, tying, braiding, shredding(?), embellishing bits of fabric into your own version of "Closet Art"!

Susan will give us a quick update on the group project we have been thinking about for 2022.

October brings more fun - A very simple basic modern landscape by "slice -as-you-go" technique which we will learn together. No rules except bring your machine and several fabric scraps in outdoor (or indoor) colors you like. See attached photo of sample. This piece is 12" x 9".

Looking forward to seeing you and laughing with you as we create together!
