Show Specials: For the La Plata Quilt Guild 'Quilting Is Fun In 2021" Quilt Show, CQC/QC will be offering some incredible show specials on BERNINA and bernette machines. All bernette machines that were on the door buster special for early June, will still be on sale for that price, making classroom/travel, or grandkids machines super affordable. All BERNINA machines will be on sale, with demo models receiving aggressive price cuts. Beginning Quilting
Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? Would you like to refine your skills? This class is for you! You will learn the entire process: how to use a rotary cutter, piecing, adding borders, quilting, and binding. This class will give you the foundation needed to move on to more advanced projects. Note: We will help you with your fabric selection, so that you can make yours according to your own personal taste. This class consists of four, 4 hour sessions. You will want to be sure to attend each session.

Instructor: Susan Madden
Learn to create a landscape quilt using your own photo. You’ll learn to make a quilt pattern from your photo and to create your image in fabric using raw edge applique. We’ll talk about composition, color, and fabric choices that work well in translating your photo into a a quilt and you’ll get started on creating your own unique quilt. If landscapes don’t float your boat but flowers do, you can work from a close-up photo of a flower to create a flower portrait in this class. |
