(UFO means unfinished object. Also known as PhDs . . . projects half done)

Sewing season has arrived! Many customers are elated that cold temperatures are here = finally having time to spend at their sewing machines.

For us, it means time to challenge you to pull out ALL of your unfinished projects, and to get them done by March 13th, 2021. With each completed item, you get a chance to win!

How To Sign Up, 2020 Style

Monday, November 23, 2020
2:00 - 4:00 PM MST
Join us on Zoom

Topic: UFO Get Together Party

Time: Nov 23, 2020 02:00 PM Mountain Time (US and Canada)

https://zoom.us/j/98026211125?pwd=WmJBU0xCdHBua0N0M0NsMUlXZHFiQT09

 Meeting ID: 980 2621 1125

Passcode: UFOs

Bring all your unfinished projects to the Zoom meeting with you. You will get to show them, and we will log them in for you. We will register each one and log them into your personal page in our special UFO Challenge binder. You can also bring in your items to either the Farmington or Cortez store to register as we have in the past. All projects must be entered by Saturday, December 12th.

Then, each time you finish a UFO, show us it is completed. You can do this by:
Bringing it to either store
Taking a picture - send through email or text

We will mark it complete and you will be entered to win (see below). The more UFOs you finish the more chances you have to win.

Rules

* You can join in regardless of where you live!

• UFO must be a quilt, wall hanging, table runner, purse, or tote bag. It can also be a garment. Yes, place mats will count, but you have to have at least 4 of them.

• UFO must be started (i.e., fabric and pattern in a bag or a kit you haven’t begun won’t qualify).

• UFO must require at least one hour of work to complete (e.g., six inches left to bind won’t qualify).

• A completed UFO is really complete. (Quilted and bound, for example)

UFO Show and Tell Party
At the Saturday Breakfast Club in March (March 13, 2021)  we will have a special UFO Show and Tell Party. Bring everything you completed during the Challenge and claim your bragging rights. We’ll draw for the prizes during this party, but you don’t have to be present to win.

Prizes
We are going to have a combination of prizes... $100 gift certificates, or certificates for a free yard of fabric per month!

Remember, the more UFOs you finish the greater your chances of winning!
