ART & LANDSCAPE

Blocks Without Borders ~ Art & Landscape Group
Thursday, October 15
1:00 pm

Our intention is to have an in person meeting (weather permitting) next Thursday

Place: Parque de Vida, Cortez, CO. North of the Parque de Vida townhouses just east of Mildred on Montezuma Ave there are 2 big trees with greeters to welcome us! Bring lawn chairs and wear a mask.  We shall be excited to see each other (socially distantly).  

Agenda:

• Bring  challenge pieces from the last few months for show and tell, so we can see in person all the covid creativity during isolation!

• Thank you Janet Huffman for last month's very inspiring presentation of monochromatic landscape adaptations.

• Our challenge for the next 3 months is our personal monochromatic landscape creation, so for this next meeting the goal is to gather 10 fabrics following the grey scale in whatever color range you choose, to create a monochromatic landscape

If weather doesn't cooperate, we shall revert to the Zoom meeting format and an invitation will be sent from Cortez Quilt Company by next Wednesday. 

JOIN US FOR A CLASS!

As you know, we have been working hard to move our classes to a virtual content. Although we are anxiously awaiting to returning to in-person events & classes, virtual is the next best thing. We are excited that a lot of people that work, or live all over the country are able to now join in.

We know that a lot of you are hesitant to join in due to not understanding how to participate. We are hosting a class for you (we would love all of you to join us!)
