We here at Quilted Corners have been following the news of the Coronavirus just like you all have. We want to emphasize that we are open, and continue to monitor this situation constantly. We have adjusted our classes/events to follow the current guideline of 10 people or less in an area.

We are so thankful for each of you, and for your support during this difficult time.
For your convenience, if you prefer to not come in to shop, you can place your order and we are more than happy to help in one of the following ways:

We ask all of you, including staff, to stay home if you:
Have a fever
Have cold/flu symptoms
Are, or think you may be sick.

We have always thoroughly cleaned our stores, however we are now cleaning our frequently utilized areas (register counters, bathrooms, beverage areas) multiple times per day.  This also includes our commonly used instruments (pens, rotary cutter, rulers, etc)

We are cleaning the classroom tables and chairs after every use.

We are washing our hands multiple times per day and have hand sanitizer available for staff and customers.

This month you will find two feet for 25% off. Foot  #6 and Foot #39 are both ideal for
applique and decorative stitches, along with being used for simultaneous sewing of reinforced or elastic thread. Foot #6 also is a great foot of choice when couching with decorative yarns. Both feet can be used on 5.5 mm or 9 mm machines.

We have a new plan in place to celebrate!
Instead of a single day, we are expanding to:

Worldwide Quilting Week!

Watch for a daily email starting next Tuesday, March 24th - Saturday, March 28th.
We plan to bring you special offers and plenty of things to look forward to each day.
Just be sure to remember to check your email each day, as that day's specials will only apply on that particular day.

We can't wait, and hope this celebration will be an encouragement to all of us!

KimberBear Challenge

Kimberbell has created a stuffed bear design that can be made either in the embroidery hoop, or with your sewing machine. Kimberbell's hope is that we will use this design to create these stuffed bears to give to children in challenging situations ...a friend that they can love and hug. These can be donated to hospitals, foster homes, or any other setting that will help children going through trying times. These can also be given as gifts in nursing homes. The goal is to see how many of these we can make and distribute throughout the community to those who will most benefit from them.

Cortez Quilt Company has challenged Quilted Corners to see which store can produce the most of these adorable bears. They have chosen the Child Advocacy Center to donate theirs to. We have yet to determine which organization(s) to donate to, and would appreciate any suggestions. What we would REALLY appreciate though is for all of our ladies to come together with us to produce many more of these bears than the ladies in Cortez could possibly produce. If you would like to make some of these in the hoop, but do not have an embroidery machine, stop by the store and we’ll set you up with a demo machine so that you can make one, or more!

Let’s show the community how much love can come from a sewing machine!

This is a collection of batiks! If you love sheep, you will definitely want to get this before it is too late. We love how our sample above does such a great job of featuring the sheep.

Sew Let's Stitch features adorable prints with sewing machines, bobbins, threads, notions, scissors, fabrics, buttons, pin cushions, and all those other fun things in your sewing room! I love where the fabric also claims "Keep Calm and Sew On".
