We are so excited to be a part of this national program to bring a little cheer to someone by sewing them an apron, and then wrapping a loaf of bread, pie, or some other treat in it. Come sew your gift for your special recipient. If you know someone in our quilting community that could especially use some cheer, please call Cortez Quilt Company and More to put them on our list. We will then help deliver these gifts the day before Thanksgiving. Please go to our home page for more info.
Third Thursday Demo: Thursday,
November 15 – Short Cut Binding Tool
Are you like many quilters and really dislike binding your project? Is binding difficult for you to do? Look no further! We will be showing the “Short Cut Binding Tool”. With this gadget, the binding and a flange are sewn as one unit to the back of your quilt and pulled to the front and machine stitched down. Our Shortcut Binding tool is used to cut your strips and help you to join the end of your binding together. Have fun with this binding method and NO MORE HAND STITCHING!! Yardage Chart and complete instructions for cutting and finishing
Join us on November 15 at 12:30 p.m. for our monthly Third Thursday Demo. This event lasts thirty minutes – feel free to bring your lunch if you are on your break. We always have door prizes at our Third Thursday Demo’s! Bring a friend!
