Quilt Documentation Event
Sponsored by the Colorado Quilting Council
Saturday, May 19, 2018

"The Colorado Quilting Council Documentation Project is a statewide effort to document the history of both old and new quilts in Colorado, through oral history interviews, identification of patterns and designs, and photography. The goal is to permanently record the history of the quilts for future generations.

On Saturday, May 19th, Cortez Quilt Company is hosting one of these documentation events. This is a great opportunity for our local quilters to have their work documented.
Please call 970-565-7541 for more information.

New Fabric

Any day that new batiks arrive is a great day. These arrived last Friday and they sure brighten up the store.

My favorite is the fabric with the pinecones. The depth of color is fantastic.

Several of these fabrics would make wonderful additions to a landscape project.

---

If you missed getting some of the Down Under Collection, you are in luck! We were able to bring in more of the favorites, including the green and purple turtles. Be sure to come by soon to get yours - last time the bolt of green turtles was gone in two days!
