Customer Appreciation Day: November 24

Please join us on Friday, November 24 for our annual Customer Appreciation Day. Come in from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to pick up your CAD card when you spend $25. It's good for 12 free yards of fabric throughout 2018 (one yard free when you purchase three). If you will be out of town on Friday ask a friend to come in and spend $25 on your behalf to get your card. No advance sales.

While you're here, be sure to fill out your Holiday Wish List and be entered to win a $25 gift certificate. We'll send your completed Wish List to the Santa of your choice. Don't risk receiving something weird for Christmas this year. Get a gift you really want from Cortez Quilt Company!

Also, on Customer Appreciation Day please take an extra 20% off anything in the clearance area and take 30% off all Christmas fabric and kits. These purchases count toward the $25 for your CAD card.

It's fun to open boxes of batik because the time between when we order them and when they arrive is so long that every delivery is a surprise. There are some really pretty ones in this group that arrived last week.

On The Town is another great By Annie pattern. It doesn’t show up in this image, but the front panel has been treated with Fabric Magic which shrinks the fabric up to 30% giving is a crinkley, textured look. The finished bag measures 12″ wide x 11″ tall x 5″ deep. Do your cutting before class and you should be able to finish the bag in one day. Judy Bryan will be your instructor.

First Saturday Make & Take: Holiday Stars

Make these pretty stars and hang them on your tree, use on Christmas gifts instead of bows, and as holiday table decorations. The pattern included three sizes – 5″, 7″, and 11″ (the two smaller ones are shown here). Add buttons and hot-fix crystals! Judy Bryan will teach this class.

Yarn Shop Classes

Knitting 102

This class builds on what students learned in Knitting 101. Now you take your craft to the next level by learning how to increase and decrease. Bring needles and any leftover yarn from Knitting 101. If you are already proficient in casting on, binding off, and doing knit and purl stitches, you may be admitted directly to Knitting 102. Limited to four students; youth and adults welcome. Sue Maxwell will teach this class.
