A New, Unique Mystery!

Ready for another mystery quilt? We've found one that is very (very!) different from the ones we've offered in the past. Join us on Saturday, September 16 at 9 a.m. to get the details and pick out your fabric.

Be sure to bring your Mystery in the Southwest quilt for show and tell if you participated in that four-week mystery last spring.

If you've never done a mystery quilt before, the concept is that you know the size of the quilt and how many fabrics you need when you sign up and receive your first clue. Then each month (this one runs for six months) you receive additional clues. You don't know the layout of the quilt until you get the last clue.

Mystery quilt participation is free if you purchase your fabric from us (10% discount on September 16), or $20 if you use fabric from your stash. So mark your calendar and join us on Saturday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m.

New Fabric

The autumn panel and coordinating fabrics in the Seasons collection arrived last week. Really beautiful colors and designs. Two images per panel, each measuring about 24" square. We still have a few of the summer panels in stock, too.

New Yarn

Fall is around the corner and our new winter yarns are starting to trickle in. A shipment of Mountain Colors yarn just arrived and is on the shelf. We received skeins of 50/50 wool/silk in lace weight. Each 600 yard skein is enough to knit up a delicate, lacy scarf or shoulder shawl. We also received Bearfoot sock yarn in some wild and crazy colors. Each skein is 400 yards and a slightly fuzzy blend of 60% Superwash wool, 25% mohair, and 15% nylon. This sock yarn is more of a sport weight, so don’t be limited with thoughts of socks – it would make a great assortment of warm and colorful accessories. Skeins are hand painted by Mountain Colors, an independent dyer located in Corvallis, Montana. Come in soon for the best selection!
